Mode of Action:

• A selective systemic herbicide, absorbed primarily through germinating shoots and secondarily by the roots, with translocation throughout the plant.
• It inhibits cell division by blocking protein synthesis.
• Recommended for pre-emergence or early post-emergence application to control annual grasses and selected broadleaf weeds in rice.
• Ensure a water level of 3–4 inches in the field at the time of application.
• Apply using a shaker bottle within 5–7 days of transplanting.
• Maintain standing water in the field for 5–7 days after Butachlor application.
