Murshid Builders (Private) Limited (MBL) was established in Karachi in 1984, with
a mission to participate in the noble endeavour of national development. Today it
has a full-fledged operative office in Islamabad.
 During the short period of 24 years, MBL has emerged as a leading construction company
in Pakistan. Today its name stands for quality and durability, which has been made
possible with an intelligent combination of highly qualified professional engineers,
skilled technicians and a modern mechanical fleet of a constructional plant, machinery
and equipment, and above all the Company resolve to keep profit considerations at
lower priority than quality and prestige. The professionally competent and dedicated team ensures quality construction through optimal use of available resources, on
schedule completion of projects at a reasonable and competitive cost without any
compromise on quality.
Since its inception, MBL has successfully executed a broad range of projects, from
the Agricultural University Campus in Peshawar to a housing complex in Haripur as
well as an industrial project (Honda Car Plant in Lahore).
Some of the construction projects that MBL has undertaken are: Campus of the Agriculture
University, Peshawar; Fertility Control Institute, Karachi; Housing Complex, Haripur;
Honda Car Factory, Lahore; Construction Machinery Training Institute, The Educational
TV Station and Khanpur Dam Water Reservoirs, Islamabad; Weather Forecast Radar Stations,
Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ismail Khan; Kohat Tunnel and Access Roads temporary facilities
and Box Culverts, Kohat. MBL also executes projects on a turnkey basis-from the
drawing board stage to the handing over of keys to the client.
MBL has handled operations and projects all over Pakistan, mainly foreign funded
ones with agencies like JICA, USAID and foreign missions based in Islamabad. MBL
works in the capacity of the main contractor as well as sub-contractor for globally
renowned construction companies such as ENCORP of the United States, TOBISHIMA,
SHIMIZU and TAISEI CORPORATION of Japan.
MBL owns a sizeable pool of construction equipment, which comprises earth moving equipment, a concrete batching plant, transit mixers, concrete pumps, 300,000 RFT
scaffolding pipes and a 40,000 square feet of steel form work.
