 NADRA
Project
With a total worth of around Rs. 1.2 billion, Nadra Project was one of JBS’ major projects. JBS provided a complete data entry setup including
hardware and software deployment and database entry of CNICs by data entry operators, more
than 8000 of which were recruited to complete the Data Entry project in the required
time frame.
 WOPP Project
WOPP is the largest Oil Transportation System under implementation in the
country and an EPC project. This project encompasses construction and operation
of a 781km oil pipeline for the transportation of white oil products from Karachi
to Mahmood Kot. JBS was among the commissioned team with CPECC (China) and was trained
by TELVENT (Canada) for the installation and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition
System (SCADA), which has installed systems at 5 different locations in Pakistan (Karachi,
Bubak, Shikarpur, Fazilpur and Mahmood Kot).
 Viisage Project
Viisage IA-thenticate document readers are used to verify the authenticity
of electronic documents like e-passports and e-visas containing biometric information.
JBS installed these electronic document readers at Australian embassies at seven
different countries in Asia & Middle East, including Pakistan, in collaboration
with US Viisage.
 KPT CACS Project
JBS provided secure computerized access to Karachi Port Trust at Entry
and Exit gates. The project included Design, Site Preparation and Installation of KPT
Computerized Access Control along with maintenance and staff training. The biometric
system, bar coded card readers,
web cams, NDVR systems, thermal printers and PCs
were also installed. The Project, worth approximately Rs.
140 million, includes the improvement of the Central Pass Issuing Office’s existing operations. JBS is
also providing support services such as Hardware and Software maintenance,
Networking Support and Data Migration Services.
